Getting started

On the device that needs to download, open HotSpot and choose Download. Note the session code.
On each phone that will help, open HotSpot, choose Share data, and tap Join next to the downloader (or type its code).
Paste a file link on the downloading device and tap Download.

Common questions

A phone doesn't appear. Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi or hotspot, HotSpot is open on both, and Local Network access is allowed (iPhone: Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network).

No Wi-Fi nearby? On the downloading phone tap Create network. Other phones join by scanning the QR code.

Will it use all my data? Only what the download needs. Set a Data limit before you start sharing, and stop sharing at any time.

Is it safe? Only people with your code can join, and secure (HTTPS) downloads stay encrypted end to end. See our Privacy Policy.
